Number eight in the series of Hammer tutorials is one about moving brushes. After this tutorial you will be able to create elevators, trains, a piece of flying poop and other stuff like that.
It is time for another of those tutorials about that program that I like to use to create levels and stuff. It’s called “Hammer”, and it’s really odd.
This time you learn how to alter the minds of the puny NPCs to make them like/dislike a someone or something. Like the player, or a combine, or a headcrab, or a cat. But there are no cats.. Why would there be cats? That’s just stupid, why would you think there’s cats? :S
If you would like to help me, you can either give me tutorial requests or translate the closed captions into a language of your choice. Just send me a PM on YouTube telling me you want to create subtitles, also have your e-mail address in it and I’ll send you the files.

Tutorial incoming!
This time I talk about scripted_sequences in Hammer, they can be used for sooo many different things, but I’ll just go through the basics you need to use them. How to make a combine kick in a door.
This is getting weird, where do all these tutorials come from? It’s like they’re spawning from the depths of the Internets just to end up on YouTube. Or perhaps I made them? Either way, the next tutorial is now here!
It’s about the three basic lighting entities, I hope you enjoy.
Woot, another tutorial! In this one you learn how to make real and fake doors in the Source engine. If you give me feedback on it either on this site or on YouTube, you shall recieve one piece of newly baked cookie. You know, that kind with chocolate chips in them, so delicious…
Oh, right, blog post, sorry about that.
You can download the zipped .vmf file here: sf_tutorial_door
And here’s the video:
This time I decided to use the newer version of Hammer and will do that for all upcoming tutorials. It’s just got some slight differences but it’s basically the same, so don’t worry.
I got a request to make a tutorial on a rappelling combine in the Source engine, so I decided to make it. This one is much better and more focused than my earlier tutorial, so please tell me what you think either in the comments below or on YouTube.
