The Human Pond

I’m finally here. This is long overdue, and somewhat lacking its original purpose, but i’m finally writing the introduction. (After a few pushes from here and there, you know who you are.)

I’m supposed to “introduce” myself in a witty, interesting and thought provoking way. But i realized that it would be too much to ask from a person like myself so i’ll try to just write whatever the hell i can come up with.

In short, i’m a curious person, living the younger part of my life. I like most things and have a propensity to aquire an interest in any or most subjects. Especially if there’s women involved, something that i won’t admit. But alas, i digress.

I try to keep an open mind to most things, avoiding to judge others, and generally act nice around fellow people.  I also kill kittens and hobos in places where nobody can see nor hear me, often using the afromentioned kitten to silently bash the lonely wanderer to death when he expects it the least.

Oh, yeah, i’m also a frequent user of sarcasm, making wierd jokes;  whoring for attention. No, i’m not. But you get the picture. Or you don’t. Maybe. Right?

Among the three of us (The other two being Niraganda( Daniel Johansson )  and Silverfish( Lucas Orsvärn ) ) i consider myself being the one with the dominant technical interest. I spend alot of time developing software and i generally enjoy the game development scene even though that’s not where most of my time ends up.

Me and the guys have a few minor projects going on that might will turn up here if we and or i ever get around to finishing them, they are all mixed up in a great big haze right now but in the end;  something will emerge.

I’m hoping this blog will work as a source of knowledge, debate and humor to whoever comes across it and that we aren’t being taken too seriously. This is the internet after all.

My name is Lucas “Silvefish” Orsvärn, I’m 18 years old and I’m here to introduce myself. My contribution to this blog will probably be about indie games and mods since that’s what I’m mostly interested in. As an effect of that interest I’ve become a modder. Currently the biggest project I’m involved in is as a mapper for the not so ordinary feature length machinima called The Wind.

I’ve been playing games for as long as I can remember, it started out with Super Mario Bros 3 and went on from there to Zelda to Liero to Half-Life to Counter-Strike to Half-Life 2 to Team Fortress 2 and many more. The latest few years I’ve always been looking for new interesting stuff to play so I mostly enjoy indie games and mods. The big game developers like using proven and well-tried game concepts, but that’s not to say some of them don’t make very good games!

Other than modding I’ve also been helping out with some other stuff. I translated Platinum Arts Sandbox to Swedish some time ago, and the last six months I’ve been helping Wolfire Games to advertise their upcoming game Overgrowth. I’m also an active member of ModDB, if you’re into that kind of stuff you can find my ModDB profile here.

This post might now seem more like a list of plugs than an introduction to you, that’s because it basically is. I hope you’ll come back to read more and maybe even leave a comment? Well it would be just marvellous if you would do that, now wouldn’t it?

so im Niraganda, one of the resident of this wonderfull pond of blogging. This post will help you get to know me and maybe prepare you for all the random and twitchyness i tend to bring where ever i go. so strap in cuz here we go:

I usually nick Niraganda. its a good solid nickname and i have no plans on changing it.

My real name is Daniel. Its not a bad name, i like it.

Im currently 18 years old, which is good because that allows me to go to all these fancy nightclubs and pubs. And everyone know they are teh awesomeness.

I like the colour green because it reminds me of spring leaves which is kinda nice. no homo intended.

Im unemployed and that sucks more than a well payed hooker.

I do not care for much in this world such as spelling which you will notice.

I repeat myself

And now to my intrests.

I usually spend my free times either playing computer games, watching anime or hanging with friends. The games i play are world of warcraft among others.

Animes i watch is Naruto and Bleach, I follow them every week and enjoy the story so far, if there are no fillers. everyone hates fillers especially if you watched the over 160 episodes with me during the gap in Naruto. horrible times. and by this time we have come to and end of this bio. i might update it later but no promises.
